Achievements of Mrs. Suhair Mohamed Hassan Makki, Director of the Directorate of Organization and Administration in AswanDuring the period from November 14, 2022 to June 30, 2023
I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to you, Your Excellency, for your sincere efforts and continued support for the Directorate of Organization and Administration in Aswan. Out of our keenness to cooperate with your Excellency for the public good, I have the honor to present to you the achievements that have been made during the previous period from November 2022 until now.
Civil service work
With the support of Siyatcom, and with the re-examination of the cases of some workers in the governorate and their presentation to Siyatcom, they were returned to work and the dismissal and termination decisions were cancelled.
Serious periodic follow-up, according to your instructions, to complete the update of the job file for the governorate’s general office and its affiliated service directorates in the two stages (the first is entries - the second is attachments).
. Responding to inquiries received from the services directorates, the governorate general office, local units, and affiliated city councils through the correct application of the provisions of Civil Service Law No. 81 of 2016.
. Continuing to provide assistance to the Administrative Prosecution and other parties requesting the Directorate’s advice on technical and legal matters raised within the governorate.
Works related to training management in the directorate
The accreditation of the Administrative Training Center in the Directorate was renewed for the second year in a row, with the addition of new training halls in the new Directorate building and the halls being equipped with modern display screens and advanced computers.
Increasing the expenditure item on the implementation of training programs, which the directorate is implementing with the governorate’s general office and its affiliated service directorates, from the amount of 70 thousand to the amount of 200 thousand for the fiscal year 2023/2024 AD.
• Establishing a training cooperation protocol between the Directorate and the Manpower Directorate for training on occupational safety and health, securing the work environment, and training all employees of the governorate’s administrative apparatus, service directorates, local units, and authorities. • Establishing a training cooperation protocol between the Directorate and New Aswan Friendship Hospital and implementing a series of free training programs (until the issuance of the decision of the Dr./Prime Minister to rationalize spending).
Works related to development management in the directorate
. Implementing follow-ups and evaluating the performance of some units in the governorate’s administrative apparatus to evaluate the performance and raise the efficiency of the units.
• Preparing an internal work procedures guide for the Directorate of Organization and Administration that explains the competencies, internal work procedures, and general competencies of the Directorate of Organization and Administration.
• Conducting a study to simplify the procedures for issuing the integrated services card for people with special needs in the
Social Solidarity Directorate in Aswan.

• Conducting a study to simplify the procedures for the subscription service at youth centers in the Directorate of Youth and Sports.
Directorate
. Research is underway on training as an essential element of human development in the state’s administrative apparatus. . Work is underway on the guide for internal work procedures for the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade.
The new building of the Directorate in Mahmoudiyah
With the support of Seatcom, a contract was concluded with the electricity and water companies to connect the facilities to the new building and to provide an electricity transformer from Beni Suef Governorate due to the lack of transformers in the governorate.
. With the support of Seatcom, transport vehicles were provided to receive some movables (used (from) furniture - computers) from the Central Organization for Organization and Administration in Cairo for the new building.
Planting the area surrounding the district wall and in front of the gate in cooperation with the governorate general office, the Aswan City Council and the South District. . Maintaining and repairing some (used) furniture received from the Central Organization for Organization and Administration and repainting it again. Providing the new directorate building with self-efforts with 2 screens, speakers, and a loudspeaker for use in the opening of the directorate.
Business related to financial aspects
. Completion of the amounts allocated to the investment plan in full according to the disbursement items stipulated for each item in the plan. . Disbursing bonuses for the first time to distinguished workers after your approval to motivate them to work and in appreciation of their efforts. . After discussion with the Head of the Central Budget Administration of Upper Egypt at the Ministry of Finance and providing justifications, the allocated amounts were increased
For the extraordinary efforts allocated to the Directorate, up to 550 thousand pounds for the fiscal year 2023/2024 AD..
. Increasing the amounts allocated under the incentive bonus to 30 thousand pounds for the fiscal year 2023/2024.
After discussion with Mr. Head of the Central Department of Upper Egypt Budget at the Ministry of Finance and providing justifications, initial approval was given to open another bonus item, and after Your Excellency’s approval to increase the amount allocated from the job wage to open opportunities for assignment and loan to the Directorate.
